About National Transmission & Dispatch Company
The National Transmission & Dispatch Company is an independent electric power transmission company which was formed into a legal corporation on the 6th of November, 1998 and started its operations on the 1st of March, 1999 after getting its certificate and license. This company comes under the Power Division of Pakistan and is authorized by the Ministry of Energy. NTDC was formed to assume control of assets of 220KV and 500KV grid stations. The head office of this department is situated in Lahore, Pakistan. The main objective of this organization is to become the best transmission company in order to provide the best services to all the power distribution companies of Pakistan. Currently, this organization is looking forward to learn and develop new technologies, i.e. import of power 765kV AC, and + 660 kV DC from different countries.
